The Conviction Kettlebell Club trains Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings in the Conviction Fitness Garage Gym, with online members training in their own courage corners around the world.
We follow the hardstyle kettlebell training methods introduced to the west by former Soviet Special Forces physical training instructor Pavel Tsatsouline.
Our programming is built around focused skilled practice to help us grow stronger, leaner, and more mobile.
Kettlebells are the ultimate tool, allowing us to train strength, conditioning, and flexibility at the same time. Through movements like swings, snatches, goblet squats, cleans, and presses, the kettlebell teaches us to use our body as one solid unit. Unlike machines, kettlebells make us better athletes.
There is no better tool to help keep you lean, strong, and mobile for the rest of your life.
The Tactical Strength Challenge
Kettlebell training on it’s own is fun, challenging, and very rewarding, but it also offers opportunity to compete.
StrongFirst’s Tactical Strength Challenge (TSC) originated in 2002 as a way to help military and law enforcement personnel with their preparation for the physical demands of their duty.
The TSC is composed of three different events:
- A max powerlifting deadlift (three attempts)
- Pull ups for max reps or a flexed arm hang (in the Novice Women’s category)
- Kettlebell snatches for max reps in a 5:00 time period
Competing in the TSC is by no means required, but it does offer an opportunity to train for a specific goal.
Conviction Kettlebell Club Coach
The Conviction Kettlebell Club programming is done by Conviction Fitness Head Coach, best-selling author, and Tactical Strength Challenge veteran Riley Nadoroznick.
A former collegiate wrestler and current Spartan Race and Tactical Strength Challenge athlete, Riley combines his multiple certifications with nearly twenty years of training experience to help others reach their health and fitness goals.
